DataWind has unveiled PocketSurfer3 and PocketSurfer3 Lite, the latest enhanced versions of its popular web browsing devices.
The PocketSurfer3 is apparently the world’s fastest handheld mobile internet device.
These two devices encompass a Linux operating system, which offers all the functionalities of a simple computer like word processing, spreadsheets and scheduling. They feature a 640 x 240 resolution, active matrix color, 5-inch TFT screen that presents lively and vibrant colors.
Suneet S. Tuli CEO, DataWind remarks, “There is a still strong consumer demand for a device that is truly portable, delivers the real web into the palm of your hand, is free for the average user and doesn’t tie consumers into monthly contracts or fees.”
