Buffalo Launches 16GB Thumb Key Pen Drive

Pen drives seem to be getting smaller and smaller in size. Their capacity thankfully doesn’t seem to be diminishing because of that fact though. Buffalo had developed a 5mm Thumb key USB flash drive a while back and as small as it already is, they’ve managed to increase the capacity of the drive itself and still retain the size of the device. The latest version has been increased to a 16GB capacity. They aren’t available here yet so our loss for now, but my only concern is that if it’s really that small how easy will it be to misplace? Of course it does become extremely convenient to carry around. This is something you’d expect to see in a James Bond style spy flick, only I’m thinking it would probably be smaller and flashier.

It’s available in Japan for a price of approximately Rs. 6, 565 (¥ 12,980). Perhaps they’ll consider bringing it our side.

Toshiba Satellite L Series laptops

With so many notebook manufacturers flooding the market with all sorts of products, who do you turn to when it comes to choosing a machine to help see you through the college years or one that is suitable for everyday use in both the home and at the office? Toshiba is one of the more reliable brands out there, although their releases hasn’t been exactly exciting enough in terms of being fashionable, although their notebooks have been pretty reliable in their own right judging by user feedback over the years. Well, Toshiba is back with a new Satellite L Series of notebooks which will target budget-conscious consumers as well as “Back-to-School” shoppers, striking a careful balance between style, performance and cost with prices starting from a somewhat high end netbook level - $549.99.

The USB Artillery Hub

If you enjoy war games, then this USB hub would be great to put on your desk at work. It can work as your hub and quietly remind you of the fun you can have at home if you just survive a few more hours at work. Of course this is one of those hubs that won’t look nearly as cool the second it has USB devices plugged into its ports.

Rock and Ride with Zero S Electric Motorcycle

When Sheldon Cooper, from the comedy hit series Big Bang Theory, asked “Who would want a motorized dirt bike on their 12th birthday?” I thought for myself “Duh! Everyone!”. I thought I was right but seeing Zero S electric supermoto motorcycle changed all that. The Zero S stands to a class of its own because it is fully emission free, lightweight, highly maneuverable and best of all fast. Using the Z-Force™ technology, the lithium ion battery packs and a separate 12 volt power system for the Zero-S’s accessories are carefully controlled when the motorcycle is running or recharging. This gives the electric motorcycle maximum acceleration and range.

The frame of the motorcycle uses tough and lightweight twin spar aircraft grade aluminum frame to handle every punishment the urban environment can throw at it. The body’s custom injected molded plastics combined with a low center of gravity gives the perfect aerodynamics and control. The performance brakes and suspension are also constructed from durable lightweight custom made materials and one of the lightest in the industry. The Zero S uses clutch-less one speed gearing with minimal frictional loss designed for rapid acceleration and greater range. The analog and digital dash shows the speed, power level and motor temperature while the fierce looking headlight uses projector beam for supreme luminance and visibility.

The Zero S basically has everything that rocket science could pull up and is used to ensure safety and performance.
